A LARGE GEORGE IV SILVER BEER JUG,
MARK OF WILLIAM ELEY (II), LONDON, 1824,
Baluster form, the leaf-capped scroll handle with overlapping scales along it's length, sides heavily chased in relief with grazing stags & doe in woodland setting, spout with mask, flowers & "C" scrolls, large rococo cartouche with monogram on one side, 12½ in. high (32 cm.), 52 oz.
