The case with glazed side panels to the hood, the 12in. wide brass dial with engraved and silvered chapter ring, with subsidiary seconds ring and engraved date square to the matted centre, signed Nicolas Blondel/A Guernsey on an engraved and silvered roundel to the arch, the substantial three train movement engraved No 121 to the back plate, anchor escapement, countwheel strike for the quarters on a nest of six bells and rack strike for the hours on further bell; pendulum, three weights
