A MEISSEN YELLOW-GROUND KAKIEMON LARGE TEABOWL AND SAUCER
CIRCA 1735, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, DREHER'S ·· TO SAUCER AND QUARTERED CIRCLE TO TEABOWL
Each side of the teabowl reserved with quatrefoil panels painted in the Kakiemon palette with flowering peony and chrysanthemum branches enriched in gilding, the obverse of the saucer similarly decorated with flowering branches and an insect in flight, brown-line rims and gilt band footrims (saucer rim with very minor small chip to outer edge and minute frit, brown line rims with very minor wear)
