A BÖTTGER FLARED TEABOWL AND SAUCER
CIRCA 1722-25
Painted in Eisenrot, the bowl with two figures of harveters in a continuous landscape, the saucer with an itinerant cobbler, within darker concentric cirles and gilt bands (slight rubbing to gilt rims, small areas of wear to enamels)

Siegfried Ducret, Meissner Porzellan bemalt in Augsburg, 1718 bis um 1750 (Braunschweig, 1972), Vol. II, pl. 118 where the author attributes the decoration to Elisabeth Wald.
