A group of four Japanese ivory okimono, Meiji Period (1868-1912)
the first of a female dancer, with her hat in one hand and a partially opened fan in the other, signed Masayoshi, sealed Dai Nippon; a fisherman carrying a heavy load of fish in a basket and accompanied by an interested and hungry puppy, signed Komin; a farmer with a large cluster of grapes in his hands, signed Gyokushu; the last of a young woman walking along, with a parasol, details stained, signed Aketada; the first -- 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high. (4)
