A Chinese silver-mounted clobbered vase, Kangxi (1662-1722), the silver later and a huqqa base, Samson
the vase of baluster shape, moulded with two rows of panels of flower-sprays between bands of further flowers at the foot and the neck, clobbered in iron-red, green and gilt, applied with silver stand and silver domed cover -- 11in. (28 cm.) high; and a famille rose huqqa base painted in coloured enamels with leaf-shaped panels and ruyi-heads reserved with flowers, on a ground of scattered flowers -- 7.3in. (18.5 cm.) high. (2)
