THE FIRST MIDDLE PERIOD 1778-1782, THE SECOND EARLY PERIOD 1774-1778, BLUE M:O L MARKS
The first with a baluster body painted with a frontal scene of birds perched amidst flowers, fruit and vegetables, within rocailles, the reverse with floral garlands, with ajour shoulder, on shaped rocaille base, outlined in gilt (one shell handle restored), 21.7 cm. high, the second of triangular section, painted with stylised foliage, triangular and combed motifs, ear handle, on three feet, the similar cover with leaf finial (the cover restored to the three corners), 7.2 cm. wide (2)
