THE CRUET STAND MARK OF THOMAS & JABEZ DANIEL, LONDON, 1772
Tankard cylindrical on circular foot, body chased with floral and trellis design, both sides of body with rocaille medallions, one enclosing inscription and the other two crests, hinged domed cover engraved with crest and motto, apparently unmarked; the silver cruet stand with pierced cinque-foil frame and oval cartouche engraved with inscription, fitted with five bottles with silver mounts, marked on stand, handle, caster bases and covers, and bottle mounts; together with a silver serving tray, circa 1943, shaped rectangular, with side handles, center engraved with inscription, marked sterling
The tankard 10½ in. (26.7 cm.) high; 100 oz. weighable silver (3)
