The loving cup of gourd form with three scrolling handles, body engraved with inscription, marked on base; the vase of tapering cylindrical form on sloping circular foot, frieze of laurel leaves near ribbed rim, body engraved with inscription, marked on base; together with various trophies, all won by Searching comprising: a silver trophy plate, Tiffany & Co., circa 1956, shaped circular, center engraved with image and inscription, marked on reverse; two similar silver trophy plates, Wallace Silversmiths, circa 1958, circular, each center engraved with inscription, each marked on reverse; two similar silver trophy plates, Cartier, circa 1958, one circular and the other shaped octagonal, each center engraved with inscription, each marked on reverse; a silver trophy plate, mark of Frank W. Lot Essay

The filly, Searching, was sired by War Admiral in 1952. She had 89 starts and 25 wins. After winning the Diana Handicap twice, Top Flight Handicap, Maskette Handicap, Distaff Handicap, and the Correction Handicap twice, she was inducted into the Racing Hall of Fame in 1978.
