The birds depicted resting on a branch over a stream, mounted on a cream background, in a moulded walnut frame, the reverse with a printed description of the 'Campylopterus Pampa' or Wedge-tailed Sabre-Wing, the print with inscriptions 'J. Gould and H.C. Richter, del et lith.' and 'Hullmandel & Walton, Imp.'
