This is one of a number of drawings for the series of 27 prints by Galle after Stradanus, dated 1613, and listed by K.G. Boon, The Netherlandish and German Drawings of the XVth and XVIth Centuries of the Frits Lugt Collection, Paris, 1992, I, no. 201, illustrated, and notes 7-24. The Sacrifice of Isaac from this series was sold at Sotheby's, Amsterdam, 10 May 1994, lot 16, illustrated.
