A 20th century presentation model of the M.V. Jean Alleaume GEOGAS
Chantier Navals de La Ciotat, France; circa 1981
in 1/100 scale, the hull of the model built up in wood and brass with a painted rust red bottom, orange topsides marked on either side with the name Jean Alleaume at the bow and 'GEOGAS' amidships. The hull also marked with draft and plimsole markings at the bow, amidships and the stern. The deck is finished in a deep green and fitted with bollards, hatches, windlass, deck railings, life rings, deck piping, catwalks, fire boxes, cabin structure, bridge, mast, radar, life boats on davits, funnel in GEOGAS livery, and numerous other details. Mounted on a mahogany base with a glass cover.
