Camille Bombois (1883-1970)
Property from the Estate of Kitty Carlisle Hart Singer, actress and advocate of the arts, Kitty Carlisle Hart was known as the Grande Dame of the musical theatre, and true to her legacy, the star of the Marx Brothers classic, "A Night at the Opera," could still be found entertaining at the age of 96. It is, however, the star's warmth, grace and tireless support of the arts that has captured and retained the adoration of fans worldwide. Christie's is honored to present the following two lots from Ms. Hart's personal collection.
