Portrait of Frederik Sigismund Graaf van Bylandt (1749-1828), in uniform

A similarly signed portrait drawing was sold in these Rooms, 14 November 1988, lot 249, illustrated. The officer is identified on the backing of the frame. He was Captain of the Admiralty of the City of Amsterdam, and became Vice-Admiral in 1814.
