A Chinese famille verte double-sided plaque
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
Comprising two roundels inset in a square porcelain base, the first painted with a long tailed bird, perched upon rockwork and surrounded by flowering peony and magnolia, the reverse side with dignitaries and officials watching a dance to the centre of the room, the plaque raised vertical on a wood base
The larger roundel, 8 7/8in. (22.5cm.) diam.
