Painted with two scenes from the 'Romance of the Western Chamber', one side depicting a man courting two ladies, the other side with a group of dignitaries (rim chips), 20.6cm. diam.; and a similar blue and white deep bowl, Chenghua six character mark, Kangxi, decorated on the exterior with four ladies in a garden setting (polished rim chip, small rim chips), 21cm. diam.
