A set of fifteen famille rose dishes and plates,
Qianlong
Richly painted in iron-red, green, blue, yellow, sepia, white and gilt, the central roundel depicting a large baluster vase with hibiscus placed on an unrolled scroll between scholar's utensils in a brushpot and a pair of scrolls, the well encircled by a lavender-blue band with with a lotus garland and cloud scrolls, the rim with clusters of fruit and flowers below a narrow iron-red border enriched with gilt scrollwork, comprising three dishes, 38cm. diam.; two dishes, 35cm. diam.; three dishes, 31.5cm. diam.; four plates, 28cm. diam.; three plates, 22.5cm. diam.
