With a pierced rosette and swag-carved swan neck pediment surmounted by a spread eagle and with a dentil cornice above a shell-inlaid frieze and a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the secretaire drawer with a fitted interior of pigeon holes and drawers around a central cabinet and with three further drawers below on ribbed bracket feet
