engraving, etching and soft-ground etching, 1938, on wove paper, fifth (final) state, signed, dated and titled in pencil, numbered 9/30 (B&M. cite the highest recorded number as being 13/30, there were also 5 artist's proofs), with margins, pale time-staining, darkening to the extreme sheet edges, handling mark to the lower left corner of the sheet, creasing to the extreme left sheet edge, otherwise in good condition
