"This 2,200-case cuvee is a classic Barossa Shiraz. Made from 20-38-year old vines, it tips the scales at 14.5 alcohol, and has 15+ years of longevity. It boasts great density, huge body, and terrific peppery, blackberry fruit intermixed with hints of new saddle leather and earth. Textured, pure, and intense, it's not for those looking for restrained, measured, elegant, European-styled reds (or, as the Aussies say .... "wines for wimps"). An excellent discovery!"
