"Completely golden in color though there is no browning and the aromas have gone to a mix of secondary and tertiary and while this particular bottle was not oxidized, there were some notes suggesting sherry and madeira. The flavors however still display surprisingly good lift to them with good depth and a certain steeliness on the finish. Particular at this point in its life and this is clearly best suited to those who appreciate older white burgundy that is declining, if doing so gracefully." BH, May 9, 2003
