Hira-zukuri, iori-mune forged in an itame pattern of ji-nie with a gunome-midare tempered edge in nie, tang ubu with two holes; silver two-piece habaki; in shirasaya; 6 1/8in. (15.7cm.) long
19th-century koshirae comprising a black-lacquer saya with a gilt-metal band and cord ring, the ray-skin tsuka mounted with gilt and shakudo crane menuki
