Universal Harmony or, the Gentleman & Ladie's Social Companion: consisting of a great variety of the best & most favourite English & Scots songs, cantatas, &c. &c. with a curious design, by way of headpiece. London: J. Newbery, 1746. 4° (255 x 202mm). Engraved throughout, headpiece illustrations (lacking leaf numbered "p.103", corner of one leaf torn away with some loss, a few tears, one longer tear repaired on verso, several leaves misbound). Contemporary half calf (rather worn, upper cover detached, split). Provenance: Mr William Primrose ?Trench (early signature on front pastedown).
