Carved to the exterior with scrolling foliate designs and painted with cartouches bearing the side profiles of William IV, Prince of Orange, and inscribed 'W:C:H:F, Verrkooroto, Stadhouderr, 1747', with further floral motifs and between underglaze blue hatchwork borders
