Painted in the style associated with J.P. Dannhöffer, the teabowls each with an Oriental standing or seated on grassy terraces beside flowering plants and shrubs, one with a pagoda and fences on an island, the saucers each with a standing Oriental, three holding fans, on a grassy island beside rocks issuing flowering plants and shrubs, one with a bird, the borders with scrolls and pendant flowerheads (restoration to three teabowls and two saucers, slight wear to gilt rims) (4)
