CIRCA 1800, UNDERGLAZE BLUE CROSSED SWORDS AND STAR MARKS
With guilloche-moulded friezes festooned with ribbon-tied green garlands supporting oval panels at the fronts painted with merchants in harbour scenes, the flat tops with insects, the deep circular wells with bouquets, each on three tapering feet enriched in puce, the sides and tops with gilt line borders (restoration to garlands, slight flaking to enamels, some wear to gilding, minute chipping to rims)
