The plate painted with three scantily clad maidens stealing Cupid's bow and arrows; the ewer with Venus and Cupid showing an artist how to paint roses, indistinctly entitled 'Blume. von Varelsi gematt' on the underside; both within tooled gilt surrounds and further foliate scrolls
