A BERLIN PORTRAIT CUP AND SAUCER
Circa 1880, blue sceptre marks and various impressed cyphers
Of Glockenform, the cup finely painted with a bust-length portrait of Napoleon flanked by biscuit molded and gilt-enriched panels of Hercules, the handle formed as a kneeling figure of winged Victory holding a shield, with gilt interior edged by molded rinceaux bands, the saucer en suite
6 7/8 in. (17.6 cm.) diameter, the saucer (2)
