Circa 1877, impressed and gilt uppercase marks, retailer's crowned mark for T. Goode & Co., London, various cyphers, pattern no. G5145, most signed with either an AB monogram for Alboin Birks or an AM monogram for Arthur Morgan
Each finely painted and hand-tooled in white slip with a putto at leisurely or amorous pursuits, on variantly colored reserves and within a variety of shaped and gilt surrounds, the gilt banded rim edged with pendant harebells
