Cal. 23-300 nickel-finished lever movement stamped twice with the seal of Geneva, 18 jewels, free-sprung gyromax balance, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, silvered matte dial with applied baton numerals, circular monogrammed case with down-turned lugs, case, dial and movement signed, dial further signed for the retailer, with a 14k gold buckle

Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1960 and its subsequent sale on September 1st of the same year.

According to our research the present watch has never before appeared at auction. It is one of only 10 examples of the reference 2589 known to the market.

The reference 2589 was introduced to the market in 1957 and remained in production until 1964.
