Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1950 and its subsequent sale on October 7th of the same year.

According to our research the present watch has never before appeared at auction. It is only one of 5 examples of the reference 2448 in yellow gold known to the market.

The reference 2448 was introduced to the market in 1948 and remained in production until at least 1952. It was made in both yellow and pink gold.
