Circa 1725, the tea caddy marked with blue crossed swords, both pieces with gilder's numerals 4
Painted in the manner of P.E. Schindler, the balustroid body with each panel depicting Oriental figures, before an altar, seated on a chair, in conversation, playing with a child, holding a bird, with a kettle on terraces beside flowering plants and beneath birds and insects in flight, the angles with concave gilt ribs, the circular cover en suite with completely gilt scrollwork (slight rubbing to the shoulder, two tiny chips to the foot, the cover with one chip)
