A SPLENDID ENGRAVED BRONZE MODEL OF AN ELEPHANT, PROBABLY DECCAN, 17TH CENTURY
Shown striding forward with figure riding astride, with beautifully moulded tail, trunk, ears, silver tipped tusks, a row of moulded bells to neck, saddle cloth with floral lattice decoration and raised lotus flowers to corners, lotus flower decoration to legs, large peony blossoms to ears - 9 1/4in (23.4cm) high x 10 1/2in (26.6cm) long (6)
