Series 1-3 in 3 volumes, 2° (541 x 372 mm). Tinted lithographic titles, lithographic dedication and contents leaves, and 75 tinted lithographic plates by G. Hullmandel after Joseph Nash (of 80 called for by Abbey). (Contents loose, clean tear to one plate in second vol., some browning and spotting throughout, heavier to two plates in vol. I and contents of vol. 2.) Contemporary blue quarter leather over watered silk boards, upper covers and spines lettered in gilt (gutta percha perished, rubbed and scuffed, headcap defective to vol. 1). FIRST EDITION. Without the fourth series published later in 1848. Abbey Scenery 402.
