Decorated in iroe, silver and gold hiramakie and takamakie on a roironuri ground, the cover depicting a stream flowing past rockwork and sprays of wild chrysanthemum, the reverse with a large red setting sun and clouds, dated 14th year of Showa, 31st of December, signed, and inscribed made for the Mitsui Bussan, with inkstone and chrysanthemum formed water dropper to the interior
