Decorated in gold and silver hiramakie and takamakie with kirigane and kimpun on a nashiji and fundame ground, the cover depicting a panel containing a pavilion by a lake with bamboo and pine, the reverse with chrysanthemum growing behind a bamboo fence, the brush tray with rocks and wild chrysanthemum, the silver water dropper in the form of a chrysanthemum
