THE ASSOCIATED DIAL SIGNED JOHANNES VAN WYK AMSTERDAM, MID-18TH CENTURY AND LATER
The domed hood with brass finials above a pierced fretwork sound panels surrounding an arched glazed door flanked by engaged columns and revealing a petwer, brass and tôle clock face with Roman chapter ring, Arabic second hand dial, day, date and month apetures above a mechanised tole lunar phase and ship scene, the paneled case with a paneled door with a gilt bronze mounted oculus (lacking glazing) on an inlaid scrolled plinth and later bun feet, replacements to moldings
