QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The bulbous body finely painted with a wide band of phoenix amongst lotus, surrounded by scrolling leafy stems bearing smaller subsidiary flowers, above a band of stiff leaves and leafy scrolls above the foot, the shoulder with bands of ruyi and stylised dragons below elaborate lappets and pendants to the neck, with a further band of stylised dragons and hanging leaves below the mouth rim
