Cal. 17''' nickel-finished lever movement, 18 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf's tooth winding, the silvered matte dial with black hard enamel baton and Arabic numerals, outer pink gold ring for the five minute divisions, pink gold feuille hands, subsidiary seconds, in circular stainless steel case with 18K pink gold band and bow, pink gold crown, stainless steel snap on back, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with stainless steel case, 18K pink gold case band and bow and silvered dial in 1931 and its subsequent sale on 31 March 1937.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never been offered in public before and is furthermore the only example of a reference 634 to appear in public to date.

Reference 634 was introduced into the market around 1937, was made in a very small series only and until today only known from archival images.
