With nickel-finished lever movement, 19 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, the engine-turned silvered dial with Roman numerals on blank inner chapter ring, outer ring for the baton minute divisions, unusually shaped blued steel hands, in square onyx case with platinum bezel secured by four screws, platinum pendant and bow, case numbered, dial signed, movement signed E.W.C.

Lot Essay

According to the Archives of Cartier, the present watch was sold by Cartier in Paris in 1925.
