The slightly domed cover with double knop finial, painted with three Chinoiserie garden vignettes within gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk surrounds, the rim with alternating panels of gilt scrolls and puce, iron-red and gilt flowers; the bowl similarly decorated with scenes of Chinoiserie figures taking tea, flanked by angular gilt bracket handles and raised on three short feet
