The case with brass handle to the arch top, brass fish scale side frets, brass mouldings to the front angles, brass lined front door and raised on brass bracket feet, the 6½ in. wide painted Roman dial signed 'Robt. Jones/Liverpool', with blued steel hands, subsidiary calendar and strike/silent to the arch, the twin gut fusees movement with five ring turned pillars, engraved edged and conforming signature to the back plate with pendulum holdfast, anchor escapement and rack strike with trip repeat on bell; pendulum lacking
