Ludwig Theodor Muller (c. 1710-1770), 18th century
hour ring divided III-XII-IX and 3-12-9 on the inside, shaped latitude arc divided []-90°, folding shaped support for plumb bob (plumb bob missing), engraved floral motif with crown, silvered four-point compass SE, OR, ME, OC, on three shaped bun feet, the black-leather case with green-silk lining (hinge detached) bears a brass disc with latitudes for 20 cities, signed L.T.M.
