With a red brêche marble top, above three drawers carved with ribbon-tied foliate swags and central cartouches, stamped 'F. GARNIER' and 'JME'

Specialist note

Francois Garnier worked in the Rue du Fauborg-Saint-Antoine, was active throughout the reign of Louis XV and was the father of the celebrated ébéniste Pierre Garnier who became maître in 1742.
