Comprising a huntsman seated on a horse, a follower on foot and a dog approaching a bridge over a stream, beyond which are two men with a dog shooting at a hare and a deer standing on an ascending path leading to a small pavilion, some restoration to the extremities

A similar group is illustrated in Howard and Ayers, China for the West, London, 1978, vol. 1, p. 98, where they state that there are several variations of this group, including one in the British Museum in which the pavilion holds a small European figure.
