The first depicting Hayata Tadazumi the consort of the famous archer Yorimasa, killing the mythical monster Nue, which was said to be responsible for the illness of his master, insribed with the text Hi Chiku Kami Sen ni Ken' (The Lord of the northern Chiku resides in two places on the Mountain); the second depicting Toshinaka killing the white monkey, signed in a rectangular reserve Koichi; the third depicting the villain Kidomaru, also known as Yasusuke, hiding underneath an ox-hide, holding a sword in his hand; the fourth depicting the famous archer Yorimasa and the warrior Hayata Tadazumi killing the wounded Nue, signed Gyokuzan; the fifth depicting a samurai who is tripping over a kusudama (a hanging flower ball), signed Munenari
