The circular dial with a cockerel below a canopy and flanked by scrolling foliage, with roman chapters on shaped enamelled cabochons, within foliate scrolls and a ring with arabic chapters, the shaped glazed door with strapwork edge and Venus with a dolphin, surmounted by S-scrolls centred by a scallop shell and a caddy top surmounted by Hebe and the eagle, the apron with a scallop shell, on scrolling feet headed by female figures, the two-train four pillar movement with outside countwheel strike, the bracket with conforming decoration
