The case inlaid with bands and flower-sprays on claw feet, bombà plinth, shaped lenticle with a figure of Father Time to the shaped trunk door, arched hood with foliate bracket and pierced frieze frets, caddy top with Atlas and Herald figures, the arched dial with moonphase, silvered chapter ring signed Johannes Duchesne Amsterdam and with roman and arabic numerals, the matted centre with subsidiary seconds, date aperture, month and weekday sectors, pierced foliate spandrels with masks and subsidiary silvered rings slaan/niet slaan and spelen/niet spelen, the arch engraved with biblical scenes and with tune indication, the eight day five pillar movement with rack strike on one bell and playing twelve airs on a 20 cm brass cylinder and fifteen bells
