Furniture for the state rooms at Harewood House, Yorkshire was supplied by both Thomas Chippendale and Thomas Chippendale they younger between 1770 and 1810. Both father and son produced a large quantity of carved picture frames and architectural joinery for Harewood. During the reconstruction of Harewood by Sir Charles Barry from 1843 to 1850 many of the architectural carvings were removed and later sold at Christie's London, 3 October 1988.
