Lot Essay

A similar example, a model of the Miyan Khan Chishti mosque in Ahmedabad, is in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. Although it has not been possible to identify the present mosque, the similarities in workmanship between the unidentified model and the example in the V & A Museum indicate that the model was executed in Gujarat by skilled craftsman.
